Land of the Rising Sun

Earthquake, tsunami

Then came radiation

If ever a place could withstand

This is that nation.

Meltdown of reactors

No time to react

Rally round Japan

Now it’s time to act.

Spirits are still high

As buildings still stand tall

A tragedy of epic proportions

Yet the spirit will not fall.

Time to rebuild

The path back…a long one

Have faith the wounds will heal

In the land of the rising sun.

About The Oldstrong

"At the end of the day, day My momma told me don't let no one break me, let no one break me At the end of the day, day, Nobody, nobody, ever could stop me, ever could stop me At the end of the day, day You can't regret it, if you were trying, if you were trying At the end of the day, day I'm walking with a heart of a lion, yeah"

  5. wordcoaster says:

A fitting tribute and call to action–it’s so easy to watch the news passively. I think most people feel like a drop in a bucket, but if all those drops: those acts of kindness, charity, and prayer are put together–they form a tsunami of love.
